My first love

Sleep. Oh, joyous sleep. What better way to begin writing about my "eazy life" than with sleep? Let me start by stating that I adore sleep. I experience it, I study it, I even dream about it sometimes. I sleep all the time, although I try to cut back on that because of the many things I should be doing instead (school!). Not only do I sleep all the time, but I can sleep ANYWHERE! Laying down, sitting up, leaning on a wall, doing homework, eating, I can pretty much sleep anytime, anywhere.
However, this isn't what makes sleep so special for me. I have never thought of myself as exceedingly talented (except for my uncanny ability to look good), but my internal clock never ceases to astound me. Whether it means getting up in time for school, taking a nap before dinner, or even taking a catnap during free period, I always manage to wake up right before the bell rings, or when something interesting is happening. I guess I just have a very observant subconscious.
One of the most disappointing realizations in my life thus far is probably how unappreciated sleep is. I mean yeah, people sleep at night, and complain about getting up early for school, but many of them would wake up early anyway. And some people even have the nerve to complain about sleep. "I slept in too late", they moan, "now I 'll be late for my meeting/class/practice!" Come on now, guys. Obviously you needed the extra sleep, or you would have woken up earlier. Its your own fault for not sleeping enough when you had the time. I mean, if sleep is necessary to function properly day after day, its only logical that people should try and get more of it. Due to the general public's basic disregard to the joys of sleep, I shall proceed to share my top 5 sleeping places, in hopes that somebody will soon share my feelings. May you use this information well.

1. My bed!
-obviously. This is the first place I go after eating dinner, and I usually don't leave it until homework time begins at around 9 or 10.

2. The lounge.
   - specifically, a certain corner of the couch. I recently came across this delightful spot thanks to a wonderful friend of mine, and love it!

3. On other people.
  - no. not like that. But people are usually really comfy! And they might wake you up if theres a fire or something.

4. The benches on the third floor of Uni.
  - I just rediscovered these old friends of mine, and have taken advantage of them many times in my 3.5 years at Uni. Plus, it looks cool when the bell rings and you roll off them smoothly.

5. My dining room table.
  - I know that sounds weird, but its actually pretty nice. And it annoys my brother, which is another benefit!

Before I finish, I would like to make one last observance about sleep. Sleep is so awesome, even the word sounds cool. SLEEEEEEEPP. SLLLLLLLLEEEEEP. SSSSSSSSSSLEEEEEEEEEEPPPP! yeah. try it.
